which fill your heart with glee

is very difficult

wakes up every body now
there come children running to homes  
to exchange gifts and roam about

at home, in the evening
eat apples crunch
blueberrys munch

at night keep the tree ready
as santa is on the way
christmas is a method of friendship
in the future and even today

trip to trivandrum

we started at 5.45 am. we never imagined that we could cover 50 kms in half an hour on kerala roads. at 9.30 we reached a restaurant named puttu kada [neyyattinkara].but
 when we ordered puttu, we got iddiappam and when we ordered tea we got plain milk. it was a horrible experience. by 12.30 we reached thiruvanathapuram. we saw the lodge[punnen road,trivandrum] were my father stayed when he was young. we visited IHRD where my father used to work.
 we met many of his collegues.by 1.00 pm, we had lunch at the famous sagara sea food restaurant.
 then we went to kovalam beach. the beach was of no fun. we left to poovar to look for a room to stay. poovar is 18 kms away from kovalom. no luck. no room for us. i dont think off season trips have any difference with seasonal ones. we headed back to the city and by 8 pm we received a room at residency towers hotel behind secretariat. we had a heavy dinner at hotel pankaj. then we rest for the night at our room.
the next morning we had tea prayed in sree padmanabaswamy shethram, pazhuvangadi temple & attukal devi temple. we headed back, had a nice breakfast. then we headed back home.

Sun in the sky,
Bright and wide,
People ask around,
What? What? What?
But the reply is,
Hot! Hot! Hot!

Ice on the ground
Through the night sky,
Snow is falling,
White! White! White!

Sun in the sky,
But not so hot,
Spring is spreading,
Throughout the land.

It has become cold,
Not so much,
This is the season,
By the name of Autumn.

Water is falling,
 Cats and Dogs,
Monsoon has come,
Time to water crops.

Aren't seasons wonderful?
Says the kids always.
It is always good to have,
The Sun in the sky and,
Ice on the ground.

Punishment

I am punished,
Ok, I admit,
I left my work incomplete,
I need to improve more,
Hope no more scolding.

I lost all my freedom,
It is a serious mistake,
I am scared even,
To look at my Dad's face.

I will give my 100%
In the school test.
Get first in class,
So to get freedom back again.

This may continue,
A week, month or
Even an academic year,
Hope not long.

This will not be so good,
If I continue,
In the bad path.
No way the path,
Is meeting with me.

Hope future bright,
Say hello after good bye,
To the gaming console.
